I haven't seen any updates here, nor on the main blog, for nearly 3 years now, so I think it's safe to say this engine has been left to rot until further notice.

Or at least until proven otherwise.

There were code merges just a day over 2 years ago. 27493ebvThey did take a previous hiatus for about 6 years.

It might be best to continue this discussion on the discussion portion rather than here as an issue. Anyone following here will keep getting pings about a non-issue. :)

Kind of a long way of saying I wouldn't call the project abandoned yet, since the author does seem to keep returning to it after every couple of years. They also mention starting a family in ~2015, and like the previous posts suggest, I assume the author just doesn't have as much time for hobby projects these days.

Sadly, this is just another proof that a significant number of open source projects are either the work of a single "hero" or a complete mess of forks with no coordination.
