a00289 potential memory errors and unreachable after reboot

I rebooted a00289 after noticing lines like

in the syslog. Afterwards I was able to ping it while it was coming up (I think) for a few seconds, but it stopped responding before I had the chance to connect to it via ssh.

It doesn't look like you got a response on this. a00289 is long long out of
hardware support (and DIKU has chosen not to renew support - understandable,
since it is outrageously expensive for a replaceable server).

I'm not sure, there a much we can do for you here..

Not sure how the decommissioning process looks like, so I'll just hope that they've turned it off at least.
