Transform this program as a full Falco plugin

Congrats a lot for this project. Do you think you could transform this stand alone forwarder as an official Falco plugin? It will help you to promote it and allow the end users to have the benefit of the tooling (falcoctl) to manage the installation and lifecycle management.

I can help you to update the code base, and set up the CI to create the OCI artifacts.

just saw this issue. I actually just posted a comment on the falco plugin about this (falcosecurity/plugins#243 (comment))

I think this would make a lot of sense to transform it, I am just a bit worried in regards to the time involvement, since we are a small team that is quite overloaded at the moment. Perhaps with your help, it would be less time consuming however.

Do you have any recommendations/guides/tips on how to go about this transformation?

On my side I can at least assign @ctdfo to spend 1-2 hours evaluating the effort this endeavour might take. Depending how long that might be, we'll see if we can do the transformation sooner rather than later.

Thanks for your answer, it makes a lot of sense. Because this plugin is requested by our community and I'm myself the author of several plugins, I will take a look and propose a draft if you want. I'm just not familiar enough with Azure.
