Hello, i successfully cracked LBA.DAT and im currently trying to mod some textures in idpsp, when i try to replace a file bigger or smaller than the original one inside the .bin i get this warning to enable pointer recalc and there's a value for "safe offset".
But whenever i use it, i go to the menu where i replaced the textures and i just get a black screen, the game is still running tho.
The two .GIMs i edited and put inside the .ANA are index8 RGBA8888 (index4 crashes the game, but the originals are index4???), both almost double the size unfortunately, i used your conversion instructions, it was the only way possible to make it transparent, i have a photoshop 6 plugin that can keep files the same size and works fine ingame but i cant add transparency to it.
Would you mind taking a look at it or explaining on how to use this function correctly? https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b5480dca-1d11-4fbb-b7f2-94111a3d4e87
You can hear me moving through the menu and im also able to select anything there
