Custom Commands Intellisense is not working when using Javascript

I am following a tutorial Cypress Custom Commands and Intellisense is not working when using Javascript. I have tried different options but everything is pointing to starting using Typescript instead. Any suggestions on this I have exhausted the Google Search.

I am using v13.4.0

I managed to partially solve this by using Cypress Helper extension on VS Code. Find Definition works but auto completion does not. For the time being it gets the job done.
