Component tests not working until I delete .next folder and rerun open-ct

Somewhat related to #17883 but the solution there didn't work for me.

Versions:
NextJS: 11.1
Cypress: 8.3
Cypress/react: 5.9.4
webpack: 5
webpack-dev-server: 3

Whenever I create a new component spec file, it shows up immediately in the runner, but no specs are found unless I delete my .next folder and then re-run the component runner.
