@michele-prandina has put together the following design for filtering the content displayed in the UI:

Steps to implementing this include:
[] Add a dynamic "filter" button to the header bars
[] Implement the tabbed pop-over when the filter button is clicked
[] Filter the nodes displayed based on this filter. This should update both the diagram and the table on the right
