Now all types are shown, would be great to set them somehow so you could only show files and images

No I mean, if you're only interested in File/Image creation or modification, such views can be generated by any Collection. You only need a plonesocial view if you'd like to have microblog StatusUpdates in there - but you don't mention those.

Please clarify the spec. Do you want to be able to use a collection as source for @@steam?

That's not far out. However it gets tricky if you consider the implications of IMicroblogContext assignments. And even more if one considers the new work, not yet merged, on modification event listeners which take modified objects not from the Catalog, but from event subscriptions.

Let's talk tomorrow and schedule that sprint :-)

I like the feature request btw, it's like the "documents and images" view in Highrise CRM.
