+1. It looks like the release frequency is once/twice a year. But still a valid question, is this being maintained?

I've seen many pull requests that I believe would be very useful.
I would like to use a version that includes those PRs.
I'm also eager to actively participate in the maintenance.
Please let me know how I can contribute.
