Rancher stuck, or errors out

When registering nodes in rancher, it complains about not valid certs, in the end it leaves the whole Kubernets cluster non accessible. I don't know if the issues lies in rancher or the nodes setup.

Rancher:
Failed to bring up Etcd Plane: etcd cluster is unhealthy: hosts [10.1.0.202] failed to report healthy. Check etcd container logs on each host for more information

In the logs on a worker node (from rancher/rancher-agent:v2.5.8):
