As discussed during the SC meeting on 2023-11-08, having an Advisory Board would help to

involve stakeholders in the project, and keep them attached to the project
broaden the collective experience and access to networks available to the project

Neil had suggested (originally for the SC) that such a body could be made up equally of

people involved in developing tools that work with CFF

people that are dependent on CFF to provide functionality (e.g. GitHub, Zenodo, journals, NLeSC)

people that are involved with open science more generally and scholarly change
