Sorry this might not be an issue, I just wanted to confirm this project still works before I buy a Garmin inreach phone.

No problem :) I wrote this because I need simple tool to to send some alerts and texts from cron scripts/web gui during stay at the polar station. Currently I'am back, so probably in the near future I don't relay need this to improve. However I was thinking to connect to inreach via bluetooth to make tool for sending/receive small files and that would be next thing I do. Anyway I can say that I was satisfied using inreach.
