Question about "[2] Dicom Support": Can we assume small image files?

Thanks for this project. I'd like to ask about "[2] Dicom Support". Could you please inform us about in 1) what kind of set up it'll be used 2) designed for which specific usecases? Serving a DICOM file containing multiple gigabytes of a specific format of image is very different than supporting multiple types, but small sized images of diverse formats. I encounter a big efficiency vs generality tradeoff here. Is serving a 4 GB DICOM image beyond the scope of the project ?

Well, the proposal suggestion mentions DICOM WSI images which typically use JPEG and JPEG2000 and the size is usually large.
