What is BytePay

Bytepay is a platform that supports paid tasks to complete open-source tasks on Github. And the project owner or maintainer can sell the opensource product like (bin files apk etc.) as NFT.

You can create paid open-source tasks in issue. Those who complete the task as required can receive tokens after the pull request accepcted. The owner can upload opensource product for example a bin file to bytepay, the comsumer who need use the bin file need buy the NFT and get the download premission.

Why BytePay

• So many open source developers are too poor!
• Developers can't support themselves through open-source, so they have to be hired by some companies
• Many excellent open-source projects have no business model.

Open source projects can't support themselves, resulting in the deletion of repositry, like https://github.com/marak/Faker.js/ ...

• Owner pay coder
• Coder contribute to the opensource project
• Sell the opensource product online let owner earn more crypto
• Owner pays more opensource coder
• It's a virtuous circle

Workflow

For example, Alice is an open-source project owner, Bob is a developer, Alice create a paid task and Bob finished it then got the reward. Jack is a comsumer who need the opensource bin files.

1. Alice(Project owner) recharge crypto in BytePay
2. Alice active an opensource project on BytePay, then create paid task though issue.
3. Bob applies the task and completes it.
4. Alice pays for Bob though issue.
5. Bob now can withdraw crypto in BytePay.
6. Alice publish an open-source product NFT on byptepay
7. Jack buy the NFT then download the bin files
