Hi!
Thanks for checking out my game, I hope you find it useful/fun :)
I took A-Level computer science and BTEC IT for two of my subjects,
The computer science nea is not that hard if you enjoy programming, but the documentation is quite a lot.
Although, you do have the choice of what your project can be which can make it much more interesting and fun to complete!
I was awarded 56 marks for this project, although the grade boundaries were quite harsh this year as i was predicted around 67 out of 75.
If you are deciding which subjects to take, I highly recommend taking BTEC IT if you have the opportunity as it's really just
basic level GCSE computer science knowledge, with a bit more of a business focus, and awards a lot of points for little effort.
In my case I was awarded D* (Disctinction*) which is equivelant to A* and already knew half the course from computer science!
I don't know if you have already, but the documentation for this project is here if you want to see an example: docs/documentation.pdf
thanks man for your response, ii really appreciate it because I can code pretty decently as I've been good enough to make money from it before but I've seen some people do crazy ai chess based projects and stuff which was terrifying me as to how hard the a level is, even though i probably shouldn't be scared as I got the best result in my year for my mocks.
I'm in year 10, going to year 11, and interested in how hard the computer science nea is.
So what grade did you get for this project?
