Slow DirectSound audio playback in Windows 9x with ES1370

With ES1370 card, audio playback with DirectSound API in Windows 9x takes 3 times longer than needed.
(There is no such problem with Windows XP)

Here is demo sound from Winamp player.
It lasts 15 seconds in Bochs, while it should be played within 5 seconds:

To reproduce this problem:

1. Install Winamp.ver.2.95.English.zip and launch it;
2. Press Ctrl+P to open Winamp Preferences window;
3. Go to Plug-ins, Output and select DirectSound output v2.2.6; Close Preferences window;
   
4. Play demo track included with Winamp (double click on "demo" in Winamp Playlist window).
