Is it possible to change ips (emulated instruction per second) while bochs is running? If so, would be possible to save Bochs state, change ips (emulated instruction per second) and restore Bochs state?

Ideally would be to measure true IPS of the simulation and adjust IPS once is few seconds to average IPS during the time period.
I call it IPS 'auto' setting.

  1. What are use cases for both of these suggestions?
  2. Can the same goals be achieved with clock: sync=realtime?

I am not sure I know what clock=realtime does. So may be you are right but I don't know.
