The Adirondack Mountain Club --
ADK -- is dedicated to the protection and responsible recreational
use of the New York State Forest Preserve, parks and other wild
lands and waters.

The membership of the Adirondack
Forty Sixers consists of hikers who have climbed to the summits
of the 46 major peaks of the Adirondacks. The club is dedicated to
environmental protection, to education for proper usage of
wilderness areas and to participation in work projects in
cooperation with the NY State Department of Environmental
Conservation to meet these objectives.

The Cohos Trail is a
159-mile remote and wild trail in northern-most New Hampshire.

For over 100 years, Bostonians and others have come for the Blue
Hills fresh air and gorgeous vistas. The
Friends of the Blue
Hills has fought successfully since 1976 to preserve the
Reservation for hikers and cyclists, horseback riders and skiers.
We encourage young people to care for our magnificent park, while
challenging those who threaten its future.

The Friends of the Middlesex
Fells Reservation is an all volunteer organization with a
mission to protect and preserve the natural and historic resources
of the Fells. In addition, we assist the Metropolitan District
Commission (MDC) in educating the public about the natural,
cultural and appropriate recreational features in the Fells.

The Green Mountain
Club and its 7500 plus members from across the country share a

Metacomet trail on the Connecticut State line to Mt. Monadnock in
New Hampshire.

The Midstate Trail is a
scenic footpath located in Worcester County, 45 miles west of
Boston. This 92 mile hiking trail extends from Rhode Island
crossing the gentle hills of central Massachusetts and eventually
connecting to the Wapack Trail in New Hampshire. The Midstate Trail
is highly accessible, easy to hike and the best way to enjoy the
natural side of the region.

The Monadnock-Sunapee
Greenway is a hiking trail that links Grand Monadnock with
Mount Sunapee in southwestern New Hampshire. It is nearly 50 miles
in length, winding along the Monadnock Highlands that divide the
Connecticut and Merrimack River drainages.

The purpose of the
Randolph Mountain
Club is to promote enjoyment of the Randolph, New Hampshire
area through hiking, trail development, upkeep of camps and
shelters, and sharing the collective knowledge of its members.

Founded by a handful of concerned citizens in 1901, the
Society for the Protection of New
Hampshire Forests (SPNHF) has today grown into one of the
country's most effective statewide land conservation groups.

The Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge
