The device goes into pairing mode "blue light", but never actually pairs.

The Sparrow Gateway reports...

The Sparrow Node should not have entered pairing mode, or the Gateway should have accepted its request.

From the logs, you can see the current Gateway is telling you that the Sparrow Node already paired to an existing Gateway, so it will not accept the pairing request.

As a workaround, you can hold the PAIR button on the Sparrow Node for 30s and it will clear its pairing information, then pairing should work as expected.
