As a user of BDK I am very happy to see a comprehensive wallet example and believe it will serve future builders well.
I am also a contributor to the Bitcoin Design Guide, and to a lesser degree the Bitcoin UI package.

I would like to suggest some tweaks and updates to the UI and UX of this example wallet to take advantage of best practices where possible, and provide design support in general where appropriate.

Benefits I foresee here are:

  • Consistent and careful design suitable for the BDK wallet
  • Exposure of good design patterns to wallet developers

This effort is meant as a long term collaboration, but to test things out I suggest starting with a bite sized test.
A logical start could be the onboarding screen/flow to which I have created a small PR #243

If there are general thoughts on the use case for the app, UI and UX aspirations or this suggestion I'm happy to hear them.
I'm here to help.

You’ve been a valuable collaborator for me and for the broader bitcoin community, would love to have you contribute to BDK Swift Example Wallet.

If there are general thoughts on the use case for the app

Maybe a good starting point is what you ended on there; the audience I tried to encapsulate in https://matthewramsden.substack.com/p/introducing-bdk-swift-example-wallet was people looking to:

  • Test
  • Explore
  • Fork

Let me know if I can expand or clarify that, to start things off.

I'd also propose for long term collaboration that we catch up regularly on either the bi-weekly bindings call or set up a separate monthly call we can do on our BDK Discord?
