When I publish a dat everyone who connects to it can discover my IP address.
Hashbase could have an option to host dats in an anonymous way by mirroring your original dat to a new hash-address, keeping the original hash-address secret. It would essentially act as a proxy to keep readers from discovering your IP address.
This would be useful with P2P platforms like Fritter and Rotonde where people will want to protect themselves from harassment by keeping their IP private.
Of course this is only a limited form of anonymity since Hashbase itself knows who you are so it won't protect you from legal inquiries, but it will help with everyday internet harassment.
