Notes from my experience editing metadata records / thoughts for making the Add Resources page better: (these are really all related to an unwanted force to stop editing a record)
'Next: Add Data' button: just saves the record and kicks back out to the main metadata page.
o Expected: Saves the metadata and takes you to the Add Resources page in Edit mode.**
When editing: ** Every time you need to navigate from the Metadata page to the Resources page it makes you save and re-enter edit mode again.
o Expected: Enter edit mode once and make all edits (metadata and resources) with the ability to switch between these tabs, then save when finished editing.
When adding/editing multiple metadata records: kicks back out after every change to a singe resource. Editor needs to start editing, go back to the resources page and complete each edit to a resource.
o Expected: ...same as above...keep edit mode active until the editor decides they are finished, then save.
In the Manage BCGW Resources window the only option once the OFI resource is added, is to 'Finish', which saves, exits editing and kicks back to the main page.
o Expected: I would like to see just an 'OK' button, then it goes back to the Resources page in Edit mode.
We need to add screenshots to this description to make it clear.
