Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) Lab Operations Wiki

The CSI Lab is a digital delivery space that hosts a community of BC Public Service employees and technology sector partners who work on teams to deliver government services.

This Repo contains resources the Lab Operations team makes available for Lab Residents, and those curious about how we run the lab. We always welcome feedback!

What happens at the Lab?

At the lab, Agile product development teams deliver better services that include a digital component. They are supported to deliver quickly (within a year) with a DevOps Platform as well as training, coaching, and facilitation to define their problem, discover a proof of concept (alpha), and release beta and live products. Teams journey through the lab and return to their home organizations, which are supported to adopt Agile mindsets and DevOps practices.

Where in the BC Government does the Lab reside?

The CSI Lab belongs to the Digital Services Office (DSO): part of a larger division within the Ministry of Citizens Services. Funding for Lab Operations is provided by this agency, while funding for team resources is the responsibility of the team's home Ministry.
