Thank you for being a reliable, well defined and stable Build System. Thank you for backwards compatibility. Thank you for not allowing any arbitrary general purpose code to be written in the build files unless it is for the purpose of extension. Thank you for the documentation and YouTube videos. Thank you for not allowing extensibility to create complexity. Thank you for now allowing flexibility to create complexity. Thank you for focusing on builds and not CI/CD or Orchestration. C#, Dart, Go, and Swift have excellent build systems that can be easily integrated into CI/CD but the Java/Kotlin ecosystem of build tools (Except Maven) are highly unstable, unreliable, and poorly defined with increasing complexity and an inability to reproduce builds. Bazel saved my Android Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform projects. Bazel has saved my life and I will love it forever for that. If I could marry Bazel, I would.
