Can we fix gtk-gnutella?

This or that way, it eventually fails with:

Compiler and make program choice make no difference. Symbols are listed in upnp/upnp.h and relevant #include "upnp/upnp.h" is there in files in question. Google does not seem to know about such failure.

I do not get the linking errors that you reported above. Are you building universal?

I was building @1.2.2, which is not in Macports yet (because I can’t build it, LOL). Did you build that or the one which Macports base has?
I will check if the patch helps anyway.

Great! I will try it in half an hour – rebuilding libgcc11 now (because of the faulty portfile with a missing dylib – fixed by now).

@evanmiller P. S. It’s interesting that Tiger builds it, while 10.6 fails (not just 10A190, but 10.6.8 as well). I was only building for ppc, no universal, no ppc64.

Maybe it is incompatible with the newer glib2? But anyway, if it does not work on your set-up, then just building it on my end won't help much, something gotta be fixed.

@evanmiller I have built gtk-gnutella now on 10.6.8 for x86_64, it does start, but after several random quits & relaunches, it fails.
For a second I see X11 graphical interface, then it crashes.
Output has stuff like:

Everything works fine now, just install gtk-gnutella port and xorg-server-legacy and delete XQuartz and Apple X11, if they are installed.
