  • private certs require renewal
  • public cert requires renewal only if it is issued by one of the supported providers (e.g. CloudFlare or Gandi).

@ab77 I saw that you added resolves: https://github.com/balena-io/cert-manager/issues/39 in #40, so that's just a heads-up that GH didn't automatically close this issue. Should we close it manually?
