How do you get milestone badges to properly update to the next version?

I'm using Badgen for one of my projects (https://github.com/mOctave/blended-ships/) and I love it!

However, I'm having trouble with the milestones badge. I pushed a release several months ago and have since changed milestones (and the badge), but it seems to be stuck on the old version still.

The relevant badge is https://badgen.net/github/milestones/mOctave/blended-ships/1.2

Is this user error (and if so, how do I fix it), or should I report it as a bug?
