How about a Slack application for our ChatBot

We have a chatbot that helps create AsyncAPI documents. Still in the development phase, but we already can train the model with it. Long term of course we want a chat UI, but it would be nifty to have a Slack application that we could install in AsyncAPI workspace and make it available for the community to use and get help from it. The more data we get, the better the model gets.

@derberg Is the bot currently hosted anywhere?
Would be great to have an exposed endpoint which anyone can use to interact with the bot via API. This will allow quick and easy adoption of the bot for anything. For e.g., someone can easily create a telegram bot or VS Code plugin because all the creator has to is provide an interface between platform and the message API exposed from chatbot.

@DefCon-007 so far @AceTheCreator hosts it on his own (can you share details mate?) and we are in discussions with Digital Ocean to get some free hosting tiers exactly for this kind of projects.

Thanks for this @derberg that was really helpful. I went through the project earlier and tried running it locally but had some issues with Wit.ai, will be taking a look again on this.

Although, who will be the target users for this bot? Because as a user, for me, the bot conversation will be time taking and maybe a simple form will be faster and make more sense. What are your thoughts?

Hi @DefCon-007 I'm the current maintainer of the chatbot. Sorry I haven't been helpful cuz I've been away for a while. I'll submit an updated PR(Which comes with an easy way to run the bot) later this week and create a list of issues relating to the chatbot.
