Uploading config files: Remove existing entries

I upload the config files quite often and each time, I forget to go in and remove the existing entries in the following sections and have to manually go back in, remove all and then upload again.
This applies to the

1. event.json with the sessions
2. entrylist.json for each car/driver
3. bop.json each entry

I would like to have accweb automatically remove existing entries when uploading those files. Or at least give me the option to do so.

I'm currently working on this in my own fork of the project.
Is this something that the community and maintainers can agree on?
If so, I will submit a pull request once done.
