IDE hangs and mem usage grows to 100% with gui not responding when opening in remote desktop (RDP)

Describe the problem

This issue persists since 2.3.1.

After the app is first installed, you have to open from local session first. Then it works in RDP session.

To reproduce

Install 2.3.1-2.3.4 in an RDP session and open the IDE. The GUI hangs and memory consumption goes to 100%.

Expected behavior

Install via RDP and open the GUI with normal operation.
