Include common short English name, not only official long country name #139

Hi,
I would like to request, if possible, to include a common English name, as in other languages section, because some of official names are so long (too long), they do not fit into other databases and search engines, as example United Kingdom, Koreas, Bolivia, etc.
It would be nice to have common, popular English name as it is used in spoken language.

Its a nice idea, and it would be very easy to add them as translation, but sometimes its hard to define what is the „common” name. Lets take your first example: the common name probably „United Kingdom”. Referring as England or Great Britain is probably wrong or at least inaccurate, but if you say UK or just Britain its good enough the same. Lets hope some project owner shows up and tell us whats next.

Since this repo originally pulls from mledoze repo below, it should have the common names in that original dataset
