This module allows you to define whether a Serial Number/lot is blocked or not. The default value can be set on the Product Category, in the field "Block new Serial Numbers/lots". Is possible to specify in a location if locked lots are allowed to move there.
To allow a user to block or unblock a Lot:
- open the user settings (menu "Configuration > Users")
- in the "Warehouse" section, check the box "Allow to block/unblock Serial Numbers/Lots"
To allow move locked lots to a location: #. open the locations (menu "Warehouse > Configuration > Locations") #. check the box "Allow Locked"
By default, users are not allowed to force-move a blocked Serial Number/lot by forcing the availability of a stock operation. If you do not want to enforce such a strict blocking of Serial Numbers/lots:
- open the warehouse settings (menu "Configuration > Warehouse")
- in the "Lot blocking" section, uncheck the box "Strictly forbid moves on blocked Serial Numbers/lots."
Two new buttons let you block/unblock a Serial Number/lot in the form view. Blocking/unblocking can also be done from the list view, by selecting the Serial Numbers/lots and choosing the option "Block/Unblock lots".
Only lots which have no reservation can be blocked.
Delivery Orders are not allowed to select a blocked Serial Number/lot.
