Only "moon_browser_total" metric available in Prometheus #151
Comments

Well indeed there is nothing on Moon 2 docs about that, but I'm afraid that the little documentation on the subject is not enough. |
This is all described here: https://aerokube.com/moon/latest/#monitoring-built-in-metrics |
I am very sorry, but what is described there is not working for me. It implies that once having prometheus and moon working, metrics will be visible. This is clearly not the case for me as I cannot see anything from what is described there. |
@johnqa any details about what you did will certainly help us to resolve this. |
I have a Rancher cluster where Prometheus is running. I do not know what further configuration should I do in order to get metrics discovered by Prometheus. |
May be you need to service monitor to your prometheus? Please please see
prometheus docs how to add new metrics exporter, or consult with your
devops engineers.

Hi,
I deployed moon2 using the helm chart from aerokube repo and also applied moon-monitor.yaml from this repo.
When doing https://moon_url/metrics I see a lot of metrics, but in Prometheus I can only see moon_browser_total, which also gives me a value of 6 that makes no sense to me.
Is there a way to get all metrics in Prometheus?
Thank you
