How to use the subtitle feature? #381
-
Hello, good program,it works great but my problem is that I cannot find a way to use the subtitle function so I can cut both the videos and their subtitles if they have subtitles.I see posts about this feature but I cannot find an example of how to use it exactly.I also do not understand what kind of subtitles are allowed:soft subtitles added in mkv files or separate subtitles and is it possible for the subtitle to get hardcoded, burned in ? |

Edit: to answer my own question, apparently you do not have to add any argument regarding subtitles,if you have a subtitle added to the video you can just cut it normally with AE and it will cut/trim both the video and the subtitle and at the end they will be in sync. |

My problem was that my subtitles were stuck at the beginning of the video and they were visible only for 2 seconds so I used ffmpeg with the command
-copyts
to fix those videos with subtitles and then cutting the silence with AE and all is well.Again thank you for this nice piece of software
