I tried using npm ad got a bunch of errors:

Is this the correct way?
Or am I missing something?

I only tested on node 16, so not sure how it would run on node 17. Having said that, try running npm run rebuild-deps

Actually, npm was installed, but node was installed rather than nodejs, and node messed things up.

It works now, although npm-install throws some errors:

When running npm run dist I get this at the end:
