Project Description

Project Title: Water Quality Prediction System

Description:
This project is designed to predict water quality based on various environmental parameters like pH levels, turbidity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen. By leveraging AI/ML techniques, it aims to accurately forecast the quality of water in different regions, helping to identify potential contamination risks early.

The project involves:

Data Collection: Gathering water quality data from publicly available datasets or through research.

Data Preprocessing: Cleaning and preparing data for model building, including handling missing values, scaling, and encoding.

Machine Learning Models: Using supervised learning techniques to develop models that predict water quality based on input parameters.

Model Evaluation: Evaluating the performance of models using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.

Technologies Used:

Programming Language: Python

Libraries: Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy for data processing and model development.

Status:
The project is in the model development phase, where different machine learning algorithms are being tested for optimal performance.

Goal:
The goal of this project is to provide an AI-based tool for predicting water quality, helping to ensure safer water resources and aiding in timely interventions for water purification.
