on the Past Workshops page the center aligned text in the table makes it bit hard to read.
Also using tables for layout doesn't work well if someone is browsing the site with a small screen device like their smartphone.

We should probably use list tags instead:

example:

#### 2021 Workshops
- August 9, 10   [Intro to Bash-Shell](/2021-08-09-ucsb-bash-online/)
...

The end goal is to find an interactive table, should that workshops can be identified by year, workshop topic, etc. (Is this too complex for our needs?) Re-formatted the table to fix alignment and increase readability. Table isn't too bad on mobile right now, the text should be more responsive for both table and home page though. Next steps are to adjust padding

Agree that an interactive table which users could sort by column would be very cool. And there certainly are ways to make tables work on Mobile. I think whatever you are willing to take on is good and it is looking better already.
