The current footprint for the RF-BM-2652P2 optional antenna pins is slightly off as shown below.

Now that its morning, I can more clearly describe the issue.

Antenna options

The datasheet lists the following:

RF-BM-2652P2 integrates three kind of antenna output modes: PCB, IPEX connector and half-hole interface,
which make the module more convenient for application and development.

Meaning there are 3 antenna configuration based on the jumper configuration on the top of the board:

  1. Internal Embedded PCB Antenna 🔴
  2. External IPEX 🔵
  3. External on the parent board 🟢

Module documentation

Functional Schematic PCB Desc
image RF-BM-2652P2_signalpath Position 1[🔴] and 2[🔵+🟢] control which antenna configuration is being used.

When not in use, the other channel is left floating.

Our case

For our case, as we are using the factory default of Position 1, the ANT #3 🟢 signal, exposed on the half-hole interface, is fully floating and not connected to anything. As it is completely floating, it will not be and issue if the pin were to be shorted to the nearby GND pad.

The current board can be manufactured as planned with no changes.
