Implement IIIF manifest import #22
Labels
Comments
Hi! Was just wondering what is the status on this issue? I also wanted to suggest an IIIF collections functionality, where an organizations IIIF manifests could be browsed and a single manifest be imported from (see https://iiif.library.utoronto.ca/presentation/v2/collections). |
Unfortunately not. We are still looking for an institution or project which would be acting as use case and willing to support the development of this feature. |
Sorry, pressed the wrong button |
What type of support would you need from an institution or project? Is it developer resources or funding? |
Both options would be fine for us ;-) |
Depending on funding for project at the University of Bergen, Norway, we could possibly take this on. But probably not before 2020. |

Add means to import a document from a IIIF manifest. This can be dealt with in server job, similar to the METS ingest.
