Add an option to add a date to the specific todo. When the todo is next opened, dates that have passed or are near will have highlights in the signal bar (left most column).

Upon further thought, this should not really be something that the app does. It is a Todo app, not a calendar. Maybe, in the future, I will decide to add some sort of sorting to the TODOs depending on some arbitrary field, such as Date to Complete; however, it is not currently on my list.
