Gloss 843 (VER) and Gloss 3969 (WEGDOEN) are related to each other by morphology.
Because not all the annotation fields are filled in (because the gloss is very old), the Gloss ID is being used instead of text when the gloss is displayed when the interface is set to English. Later, it became required that all languages are filled in. That is a constraint that is sometimes assumed. But old data did not have this constraint. It only applies to data that is added after the constraint was added.
It seems there is a piece of bad data somewhere. Like an object reference is really a string instead of an object. (Once upon a time, character strings were used to represent machine values, then these were updated to be object references.)
