Attempting to delete node sometimes deletes separate node's variable value.

When attempting to delete a node, another node (which seems to be the first item in the graph's list of nodes) will instead have its first(?) variable's value deleted. To "fix" it, I click an empty space in the graph to deselect everything before reselecting the node I wish to delete.
