Unable to create portal

Is this project still active? I'm unable to create a portal. The button doesn't show up, and pressing enter in the text box does nothing.
I'm running Beaker Browser 1.1.0 on Manjaro Linux 21.0.7.

Not that I know. And I think there have been breaking changes since Beaker moved to 1.0 (if not earlier) and the switch from dat:// to hyper://
