I think there should be some sort of mechanism that resets the selected observation points.
i see that there is a "X" (next to the "Download") button that clears the view. however, the graph will be fully restored upon a disable/enable of the layer or another point is selected.
the only method i have found to successfully clear the graph is to remove the layer and retrieve it again.

i would suggest that there be some action (button) that removes all the graph plots. we also talked about a limit of the number of plots that can appear on the graph at a time.
