Is there a specific reason about the choice of probability distribution of random numbers used in ramp (if on-peak (gaussian distribution based on litterature and empirical experience because coincidence is less likely to happen, also one can skew the gaussian distribution towards more or less likelihood of coincident switches) or off-peak (uniform because we don't know))
