Summary
The pointer line unlocks very easily when you make slight vertical movements on selectable links in the source code, so it's difficult to keep your hand steady enough to trigger.

I think it's especially difficult because you loose awareness of where your controller is actually pointing when the line is locked to something. Perhaps it would be useful to show a subtle, translucent line simultaneously when your controller is locked on something. That way you always know exactly where you are truly pointing, even when the locking behavior is locked onto an object.

Platform (Vive, Rift, Windows MR, GearVR): Vive

Good suggestion about the translucent line. We'll consider adopting that.
