Docker Compose External MONGODB_URI

I need help for configuring MONGODB_URI to use external MONGODB_URI with credentials
Anyone can help me figure out what i am missing out?

opensign-server running on port 8080.

Update:
I use portainer docker compose and used to set the environment variable directly into the compose's environment variable without using env file. Is there any reference for which variable is required and which is optional, also which variable need to be set for opensignserver and which need to be set for client?
