Today I encountered a case when I searched for a certain name, but didn't get the results I had expected due to misspellings. It would be great to have an option of searching for similar entries/using fuzzy matching to expand the set of results.
Is this within the realm of the possible?

It is possible, I have been looking into re-doing the text part of searching anyways.
