Ohz- SEI Capstone Project

Zooty Water

Description

This is an appilcation built and designed to support Zooty Water, a Solarized Structured Alkaline Water company. The goal of the this project was to create a platform to connect customers to Zooty Water. The app allows the user to create, update, and delete a an account as well as an order. The goal is for the user to learn more about the product and to purchase it. On the back end, the appilcation stores the customers information in a database. Features include glass theme design, 3D Animations, 3D Model of Bottle, Stripe Payment Api, and full Crud between two models.

Big Goals

What should I focus on?

  • Discover or invent an idea, preferably one with some group of users that would jump at the chance to really use your product. Zooty Water App - User is able to subscribe and purchase Zooty Water
  • Glass theme design
  • Minimal
  • animations (3D Animation on Home Page and Product List, Class Cards, blur effects)

MVP

Zooty water Application

  • Registered Users will be able to create, update, edit and delete a profile
  • Emails will be collected upon sign up
  • User will be able to create update, edit, and delete order for Zooty Water Product
  • User will be able to view a detail page of the Order to Checkout
  • User will be able to subscribe for monthly newsletter
  • User will be able to pay for order
  • Users without Profiles will be able to view Home page and product index page but will not be able to and checkout until the user signs up for Profile.

  • User will receive Thank you email if User opts in for newsletter
  • User will be able to Recieve the order

Technical Requirements

What technologies will I be using?

Your app must meet the following technical requirements:

Use a database, whether it's one we've covered in class or one you want to learn.

  • Database- PostgreSQL , Server- Django Build a full-stack application by making your own back-end and your own front-end.
  • Programming Language- Front end-JavaScript, Backend-Python

User Stories

Who is your user?

  • User is anyone who navigates to the application. The User has the option to sign up and create a profile.
  • Users with created profiles will have the ability to view product show page and add product to shopping cart to checkout

User Story

  • User will be able to create, update, edit and delete a profile

  • Prompt to ask user is they would like to subscribe for a monthly newsletter
  • User will be able to view a List of Zooty Water Products
