Some users have indicated they want to know exactly how the numbers and graphs are calculated, but of course not all of them are capable of reading the source code.

Maybe we can have explanations with each graph / number in the AchillesWeb website?

I would second this request. However this is in separate github project (web part of achilles)

We have this now in the Heel Results Shiny app, but that only helps for drilling down into the SQL when a Heel Result exists. Having the SQL and description behind each graphic in Atlas Data Sources / AchillesWeb is still needed.

I agree this is needed. How can I help with this? Should a few of us meet to discuss?

We should -- I'll set something up. I've been thinking about Jupyter Notebooks (thanks to you) as a way to allow us to serve a richer, more flexible UI for both Atlas and non-Atlas users. I'm envisioning a notebook that not only provides interactive graphics, but also adaptive text based on the results.

That is a good idea.
